Changes for 2020
It's official! The Battle Creek Farmers Market at Festival Market Square will open on Wednesday, May 6th.
COVID-19 protocols recommended by the CDC will be followed, including social distancing, hand-washing stations, and sanitizing. Until Michigan's Executive Order is lifted we will be selling food, personal hygiene and cleaning products. No plant sales are permitted at this time. Prepared food consumption onsite is prohibited but our vendors will offer their entire menu for take-away. Due to the restrictions there will be no live music, demonstrations, sampling or children's activities. We ask that children be left safely at home and that families limit visits to one family member. Pets are strongly discouraged. Changes over the course of the market season have allowed onsite food consumption, plant and flowers sales. Live music returned in late July. We still can't offer samples, demonstrations or children's activities.
Wednesday Market hours will be 9am to 2pm (May through October).
Friday Market hours will be 3 to 7pm (May through August).
Free 1 hour parking for farmers market customers is available in the Hamblin Avenue Ramp.
Food Truck Friday events are tentatively being planned for May 15, June 19, July 17, August 14.
