Our Free Stall Program

We offer the occasional free use of stall space ON SATURDAY ONLY , if available, to community, youth and service organizations, such as Rotary, 4-H, and Kiwanis, if space is available. Members of such organizations can use the free stall space to promote the organization, or the organizations programs and projects. This program is not designed for issues advocacy or political organizations. Space for such groups will not be available.

Market management has the right to refuse space.

All management decisions are final.

It is our long standing policy to not allow political campaigns, petition signature gathering, or issue based efforts at the markets.

1. At least 2 weeks in advance of the date your organization would like a stall space, contact Brigette Leach at 269-746-4648 to reserve a stall.

2. Plan to arrive at the market on the scheduled day no later than 30 minutes prior to market opening to set up your display and prepare to interact with market customers.

3. Park your vehicle, or vehicles, in the area designated by the market. This information can be obtained from the Market Master.

4. Plan to stay at the market until closing time.

5. Use attractive visual components to attract attention to your stall, such as a colorful table covering and signs or posters. A simple way to interact with market customers is by having something to pass out when they approach your stall. You will not be allowed to approach customers outside of the stall.

6. Train your volunteers to greet customers and interact with them appropriately, as well as thank them at the end of the interaction.

7. Be sure the individuals staffing your stall are well informed about the organization, the project or the fundraising effort so that any and all questions can be answered.

8. Remember that the only reason the market would not be held is in the case of severe weather conditions. The market is held rain or shine.

9. If it becomes necessary to cancel use of the free stall, please be considerate enough to contact the market and let us know at the earliest point it becomes clear you must cancel, but no less than a day in advance. Groups that reserve a stall and then do not show up to use it without notifying the market will not be allowed free space in the future.

10. Participating organizations provide their own display materials, including table, chairs if desired, as well as appropriate signage, posters, and/or printed materials to distribute.

11. One time fundraising projects are permitted with advance market management approval of the project and provided those projects can be conducted in the space allotted to the organization. Fundraising projects must adhere to all applicable local, state, and federal rules and regulations.

It is our long standing policy to not allow political campaigns, petition signature gathering, or issue based efforts at the markets.
